Pastoral Care

Pastoral care is spiritual support offered by clergy, to individuals or groups during times of need. Rooted in Jesus’ teachings of love and compassion, pastoral care provides listening, spiritual guidance, prayer, and presence to help foster healing, comfort, and connection to God.

12 step programs

The Episcopal Churches of Staten Island are dedicated to fostering hope, healing, and renewal within our community. A key aspect of this mission is our steadfast support of essential 12-step programs, including Narcotics Anonymous (NA) and Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). Many of our parishes host 12-step groups, providing spaces of refuge where individuals facing addiction can find the support they need on their journey to recovery.
